This integrated approach helps customers get fully prepared, high-quality components faster and more efficiently.
Post-Cast Finishing
Phenix Foundry provides on-site finishing to ensure freshly cast parts are ready for further processing or delivery. Our capabilities include two Wheelabrator batch blast machines and multiple grinding stations, allowing us to achieve smooth surfaces, remove excess material, and maintain tight dimensional tolerances. This ensures parts meet both functional and aesthetic requirements before machining, coating, weldment conversion, or shipping.
Machining
Phenix Foundry, through its affiliate company Metal Goods Manufacturing, offers machining services to its customers. From simple drilling and threading to complex milling, we provide turnkey parts for both small jobs and high-volume production. Our team ensures tight tolerances and consistent quality, supporting downstream assembly and reducing the need for additional rework. We also accommodate custom setups and specialized fixtures to meet unique project requirements.
Coating
Phenix Foundry can facilitate powder coating or other industrial coatings to enhance part durability, corrosion resistance, and appearance. Our coating processes are designed to provide uniform coverage on complex geometries while maintaining dimensional consistency. We work to ensure surfaces are properly prepared so coatings adhere reliably and perform over the long term. Phenix Foundry’s affiliate, Metal Goods Manufacturing, has a media blast room that we use to ensure surfaces are ready for coatings or paint. With these services, customers receive finished parts that are ready for immediate use or further assembly.
Weldment Conversion
Phenix Foundry prides itself on its collaborative efforts with customer engineering departments to facilitate effective casting design. We work with customers to ensure part geometries can be manufactured efficiently. We also assist in converting weldments to castings, often saving many hours of fabrication time compared to traditional weldment assemblies. By replacing multi-piece weldments with single-piece castings, we can improve consistency, reduce assembly complexity, and streamline production workflows.
