Our Equipment
Precision Foundry Equipment
Whether you’re looking for a small batch or full production quantities, our people, processes, and equipment are aligned to deliver consistent, high-quality results with dependable lead times.
Molding: Our molding capabilities include two B&P high-pressure automatic molding lines, providing the repeatability and efficiency required for both short runs and ongoing production. With plate dimensions of 16” x 20” and 26” x 20”, we accommodate a wide range of part sizes and configurations while maintaining dimensional consistency.
Core making is supported by two Dependable shell core machines, enabling precise internal geometries and clean casting integrity. This combination of automated molding and reliable core production allows us to produce complex castings with the strength, accuracy, and surface quality our customers expect.
Melting: Phenix Foundry operates two Inductotherm coreless induction furnaces with capacities of 1 ton and 2 tons. These furnaces provide precise temperature control and rapid melt cycles, ensuring consistent molten metal quality for both gray and ductile iron castings. Whether producing small prototype runs or full production quantities, our induction melting capabilities allow for tight control over chemistry, temperature, and metallurgical properties, helping us deliver castings that meet your exact specifications.
Finishing: After casting, parts move to our finishing area, where two Wheelabrator batch blast machines efficiently remove sand, scale, and surface imperfections, preparing castings for inspection and machining. Multiple grinding stations complement this process, allowing our skilled operators to achieve tight dimensional tolerances, smooth surfaces, and clean edges. Together, these finishing capabilities ensure every casting meets the high standards required for performance, durability, and downstream processing.
